- 1 Turkish coffee cup of rice
- 9 Turkish coffee cups of water
- 2 Turkish coffee cup of sugar
- ½ teaspoonful turmeric
Preparation
Pick over and wash the rice. Add the water and cook it in water over low fire until it is tender. To prevent hardening, add only one table spoonful of sugar first, when it comes to boil add another spoonful of sugar. When it boils again add the rest of the sugar. Mix turmeric with water, add it and when it thickens pour it into bowls.
