- 2 glasses of red lentil
- ½ glass of rice
- 4 glasses of water
- 1 teaspoonful of salt
- ¼ glass of olive oil
- 3 large onions
- 6 whole cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoonful of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoonful of red pepper
- 1 teaspoonful of black pepper
- 1 teaspoonful of salt
Preparation
Pick over the lentil and the rice. Wash it and put it into a wok. Add the water, replace the lid and cook it on light fire until its juice is absorbed. Add some salt, boil 5 more minutes and pour it on a tray. Put some olive oil in a different pan and add the onions sliced in rings, and the crushed garlic. Fry them. Sprinkle the spices and salt. Spread this on the lentil. Serve it cold.
